If you are coming to the Juvenile Court to conduct business, whether you are a child, parent, Attorney, volunteer, etc. there are certain things you need to know to be prepared. Regular business hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. however the building is open until 5:30 p.m. If you need to pick up your child from detention after hours come through the front entrance and look for a call box on the right wall.
Cell phones must be turned off or on vibrate while in the courtrooms and preferably while in the building. Be respectful of noise levels as the open lobby layout can result in a loud atmosphere that can be disruptive to courtroom proceedings. You will be required to walk through a metal detector upon entrance. There is an information desk to your right after the security check.
