Charles Campbell Scholarship

The Tennessee Juvenile Court Services Association established the Charles Campbell Scholarship Foundation Fund in order to provide monetary assistance to retired Juvenile Court employees who have been active participants in the Association that would enable them to attend the annual joint Conference on Juvenile Justice. The 34th Joint Conference on Juvenile Justice will be held at the Airport Marriott Hotel, 600 Marriott Drive, Nashville TN, from August 13 – August 16, 2017.

Applicants for the scholarship must have been employed by a Juvenile Court for at least twenty years and retired from court employment. Applicants must also have been a member in good standing and an active participant in TJCSA for at least ten years. The scholarship will pay for up to three nights’ lodging and registration fees at the annual Joint Conference. Recipients will be responsible for meals not provided at the conference, transportation expenses and additional fees for guests.

Charles Traughber Scholarship

The Tennessee Juvenile Court Services Association established the Charles Traughber Scholarship Foundation Fund in order to provide monetary assistance to Juvenile Court staff, which would enable them to attend the annual Joint Conference on Juvenile Justice. The scholarship will pay for up to three nights’ lodging, parking and registration fees. Recipients will be responsible for meals not provided at the conference, transportation expenses and any additional guest fees. Attendance at all workshops and the annual business meeting is a requirement in order to receive the scholarship. The 34th Joint Conference on Juvenile Justice will be held at the Airport Marriott Hotel, 600 Marriott Drive, Nashville, TN from August 13 – August 16, 2017.

Due to limited funding available, the determination of who receives this scholarship will be based upon the application.
