Multi-Level Agencies Train for Coordinated Emergency Response


The Nashville Office of Emergency, Task Force 46 and many local agencies and organizations in Nashville and Davidson County are participating in a combined Homeland Defense and Defense response exercise, called the 2023 Nashville Dense Urban Terrain Exercise. An academic symposium for sharing best practices was held on August 8th and two days of interagency training with urban search and rescue, decontamination, medical treatment & triage, maritime and air transportation operations with conclude the exercise operations. Davidson County Juvenile Court hosts Blount County Juvenile Court Officials


We were excited to host an important visit at Juvenile Court today with officials from Blount County, TN, visiting our facilities. The visitors included Blount County Juvenile Court Judge Kenlyn Foster, Magistrate Jason Beddingfield, and Mr. Charlie Johnson, who is the ISP (Intensive Supervision Probation) Program Coordinator. They were given a tour of the facilities and were introduced to the workings of the Davidson County Youth Recovery Court. Indy Car Driver Shares Stories of his Championship Career with our Youth

As our city recently wrapped up another successful Big Machine Music City Grand Prix, we at the Court would like to thank Indy Car driver, Robb Holland, for taking time out of his busy race preparation schedule to visit and speak with our youth about the increasing opportunities available in Motor Sports. Mr. Holland is a championship driver and an accomplished automotive journalist that promotes diversity in his sport, and he graciously shared his path to the top of his field with several enthusiastic youths in our pre-trial housing unit.
