NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Following a week that included multiple violent crimes involving teens, community activists organized a gathering to raise awareness of youth violence.
Two teens will be remembered who were killed in the last several months.
Community activists, along with parents and teens gathered to participate in YOUTH 100 Walk from the Davidson County Juvenile Justice Center to the Davidson County Criminal Justice Center.
Weather forced the rally to be move to the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church.
The group is focused on youth gun violence in Nashville. In particular the group is remembering Dejuan Lytle, 16, and Brandon Williams, 17 both teens were killed in 2015.
