We were excited to host an important visit at Juvenile Court today with officials from Blount County, TN, visiting our facilities. The visitors included Blount County Juvenile Court Judge Kenlyn Foster, Magistrate Jason Beddingfield, and Mr. Charlie Johnson, who is the ISP (Intensive Supervision Probation) Program Coordinator. They were given a tour of the facilities and were introduced to the workings of the Davidson County Youth Recovery Court.
Leading the tour was Ms. Jane Taylor, the Davidson County Youth Recovery Court Coordinator. Despite the ongoing birthday celebration of Judge Sheila Calloway, she was enthusiastic about meeting with Judge Foster and sharing the success story of the Davidson County Youth Recovery Court with her counterparts from Blount County. In addition to the tour, Judge Foster and her team were welcomed by Ms. Jennifer Wade, Juvenile Court Administrator, Mr. Lonnell Matthews, Juvenile Court Clerk, and his Chief Deputy, Mr. Avery Patton. This visit was an opportunity for knowledge exchange and collaboration between different jurisdictions, promoting the sharing of successful strategies and experiences in managing Youth Recovery Court and related programs.
